In its continued pursuit of promoting girls’ rights and empowerment,
Wo-Man Together  Association organized an intensive two-day training under the “Circles of Hope” initiative, a part of IGNITE Project, funded by the AGENCE FRANÇAISE DE DÉVELOPPEMENT (AFD)  and implemented in cooperation with INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE (IRC) and  RENÉ MOAWAD FOUNDATION (RMF).

The training was conducted by a specialist trainer in the field of childhood, who is also the Secretary-General of the Higher Council for Childhood at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Lebanon Rita KARAM.

It targeted a group of female facilitators from various Lebanese regions, within the framework of the Training of Trainers (TOT) program.

The training was distinguished by rich discussions that addressed the importance of education, gender justice, and awareness on ways to protect girls from bullying, harassment, and online abuse. It also provided an interactive space for exchanging experiences and developing skills that enhance the participants’ roles in their communities. The participants showed remarkable enthusiasm and promising potential.

At the conclusion of the training, the President of the Association, May FARHAT, distributed participation certificates, in recognition of the participants’ commitment and constructive engagement throughout the training days.

This successful training underscores the association’s deep dedication to girls’ affairs and to broader societal advancement, remaining deeply invested in this mission  and driven by the belief that empowering girls today is a crucial step toward building a brighter, more equitable future for all…

على يد المدربة الاخصائية في مجال الطفولة ريتا كرم الامين العام للمجلس الاعلى للطفولة في وزارة الشؤون الإجتماعية في لبنان
.TOT استهدف التدريب مجموعة من الميسّرات من مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، ضمن برنامج تدريب المدرّبين
تميّز التدريب بنقاشات غنيّة تناولت أهمية التعليم، والعدالة بين الجنسين، والتوعية حول وسائل حماية الفتيات من التنمر والتحرش والتعرض الالكتروني، كما شكّل مساحة تفاعلية لتبادل الخبرات وتطوير المهارات التي تعزّز من دور المشاركات في مجتمعاتهن، واللواتي أبدين حماسًا لافتًا ودورًا واعدًا.
.ختاماً، وزعت رئيسة الجمعية مي فرحات إفادات مشاركة، تقديراً لالتزام المشاركات وتفاعلِهن البنّاء خلال أيام التدريب
يعكس نجاح هذا التدريب التزام الجمعية العميق بقضايا الفتيات وكل ما يصبّ في خدمة المجتمع، ومواصلتها هذه المسيرة، إيمانًا بأن تمكين الفتيات اليوم هو استثمار في مستقبل أكثر إشراقًا وعدالة للجميع
